Rachel Workman:
7 Jesus withdrew
with his disciples to the lake, and a large crowd from Galilee followed. 8 When
they heard about all he was doing, many people came to him from Judea, Jerusalem,
Idumea, and the regions across the Jordan and around Tyre and Sidon. 9 Because
of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep
the people from crowding him. 10 For he had healed many, so
that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him. 11 Whenever
the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are
the Son of God.” 12 But he gave them strict orders not to tell
others about him. Even evil knew who Jesus was.

John Burnett:
7 Jesus
withdrew to the sea with His disciples; and a great multitude from Galilee
followed; and also from Judea, 8 and from Jerusalem, and
from Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of Tyre and
Sidon, a great number of people heard of all that He was doing and came to
Him. 9 And
He told His disciples that a boat should stand ready for Him because of the
crowd, so that they would not crowd Him; 10 for He had healed many, with
the result that all those who had afflictions pressed around Him in order
to touch Him.11 Whenever
the unclean spirits saw Him, they would fall down before Him and shout, “You
are the Son of God!” 12 And
He earnestly warned them not to [a]tell
who He was. Even the demons know that He is the Son of God. It is a shame
that people, who were made in His image don’t recognize Him as God.
