Ecclesiastes 3:14-15

Rachel Workman: ¹⁴ And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him. ¹⁵ What is happening now has happened before, and what will happen in the future has happened before, because God makes the same things happen over and over again.

Interesting verses today. God makes the same thing happen over and over again. These verses prove to be correct. If you need proof, pick up your bible. It's good to know that God's word is final.

John Burnett:  ¹⁴ I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.

¹⁵ Whatever is has already been,
    and what will be has been before;
    and God will call the past to account

Some deep doctrinal attributes of God discussed in these verses.  God is eternal (will endure forever), God is immutable (does not change so nothing can be added or subtracted from who He is or what He does), and God will judge us and call our past into account.  We are condemned and should fear what God will do to us if we don’t repent of our sins and put our trust in Jesus Christ.  When we do this, it is no longer our account record God is judging but our new record of perfection that is imputed to us when we put our trust in Jesus.
