Pat Bell: God continues to perform miracles on this earth.

John Burnett: 7 And grasping him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. 8 And leaping up, he stood and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God; 10 and they recognized him as being the very one who used to sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg for charitable gifts, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. Making this lame man walk is small potatoes compared to raising a dead man to eternal life. This is what happens every time a sinner's eyes are opened to their sin, they repent, and they put their trust fully in the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross as the payment for their sins. The same leaping and praising should apply when a sinner is saved as it is a much bigger deal.
Peter’s Second Sermon
11 While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the portico named Solomon’s, completely astonished.

Tomorrow’s reading for Acts 3:12-16
12 Peter saw his opportunity and addressed the crowd. “People of Israel,” he said, “what is so surprising about this? And why stare at us as though we had made this man walk by our own power or godliness? 13 For it is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the God of all our ancestors—who has brought glory to his servant Jesus by doing this. This is the same Jesus whom you handed over and rejected before Pilate, despite Pilate’s decision to release him. 14 You rejected this holy, righteous one and instead demanded the release of a murderer. 15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. And we are witnesses of this fact!
16 “Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.
