Romans 11:33-36

Rachel Workman: 33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[i] knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?

Or who has been his counselor?”[j]
35 “Who has ever given to God,
    that God should repay them?”[k]
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.
I love theses verses. From him, through him and for him all things were created. Hard to imagine that God created us simply for himself.

John Burnett:  33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[a] knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!  God is Holy and only His judgements are righteous.
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?  We only know the little snippet that He has shared with us in His Word.  It amazes me when people say they know more than that.  The Word Faith pastors on TV claim this all the time because they have demoted God to the point to that knowing His mind is possible.
Or who has been his counselor?”[b]
35 “Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay them?”  God is the giver of all things so no one has given Him anything other than praise and glory and many times that is like dirty rags.
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.  The World has bought the great lie that all things came from big bang and evolution and that there was no creation as it was written in Genesis.  I have friends and family that they believe in God but that He created the world through evolution and not by the word of His mouth.  They know a different God than I do and I hope he judges them as not giving Him the glory rather than worshiping and idol they created in their mind.  Idolaters do not inherit the kingdom of God.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Tomorrow’s reading for Romans 12:1-8

12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
