Rachel Workman: 32 Two others, both criminals, were led out to be executed with
him. 33 When they came to a place called The Skull, they nailed him to the
cross. And the criminals were also crucified—one on his right and one on his
left.
34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what
they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice.
If Jesus can say Father forgive them in this
moment surely I can do the same. My heart is defiantly not that of Christ's.

John Burnett: 32 Two others also, who were
criminals, were being led away to be put to death with Him.
33 When they came to the place called [a]The Skull, there they crucified Him
and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.34 [b]But Jesus was saying, “Father,
forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast
lots, dividing up His garments among themselves. Yes, God used these Roman
soldiers to execute His plan of Jesus dying on the cross but it was my sin that
put Him there.
